- The Greater Hartford Interfaith Coalition is
committed to address social, economic and racial
injustice in our region. We are drawn from the
region’s diverse religious and cultural
communities, which reflect our common spiritual
values and shared commitments.
We acknowledge that there is an imbalance
between human dignity concerns, and material
interests. We further acknowledge that racism,
classism, economic injustice, sexism, segregation
and indifference are systemic ills that consistently
plague our region. Therefore, we shall vigorously
address the most pressing issues, problems,
inequities and opportunities throughout the
Greater Hartford region, in order to achieve a just
and righteous community for all.
Our commitment is to create a prophetic movement
that brings about the transformation necessary in
our region.
