May 25th's  conversation around the film Unnatural Causes-- Place Matters demonstrated the
urgency and deep sense of purpose and will among our communities of faith to understand our
potential role in bringing about a greater awareness around issues health disparities, and to
explore actions that would address specific challenges faced by the community we serve in Greater
Hartford and other parts of the State of Connecticut. As one of our Task Force members recalls,
"There was so much power in the room. This group could really make things happen!"  
GHICEJ wants to acknowledge the power of the people on this night, and the power of everyone
you all work with. We look forward to bringing our resources together for a just and equitable
health system for all.
